CASTING ANIMATED DOCUMENTARY SERIES

We are seeking male actors, ages 25–60s, of all ethnicities for principal, recurring, and supporting roles for an upcoming non-union animated documentary series portraying real historical figures. Talent should have strong character looks and the ability to authentically portray individuals from the early 1800s.

We are casting approximately 12–15 actors and are particularly interested in actors who can portray:

American frontiersmen and military officers
Mexican military officers and political figures
Tejano leaders and citizens
Historical figures ranging from their late 20s to 60s

Experience with horseback riding, military training, Spanish language, historical reenactment, or other period-appropriate skills is a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION

Principal Role

Role Rate: $1,550
Includes one filming day, approximately 2–4 hours
Additional VO pickups: approximately 3 sessions at $150 per session, if requested by production
Estimated total pay: up to $2,000

Supporting Role

Filming: One day (approximately 2–4 hours)
Role Rate: $950
Optional VO Pickups: Up to 3 sessions at $150 each, if needed
Maximum Total Pay: Up to $1,400

Voiceover Pickups:
Talent may be asked to complete approximately three voiceover pickup sessions. These are anticipated to be recorded remotely or from a home studio setup. Additional details and technical requirements will be provided if selected.

Please record your audition as though you are participating in a historical documentary interview.
Deliver the dialogue naturally without reading directly from the page.
Multiple takes are welcome; submit your strongest performance.
Before beginning the dialogue, face right for approximately 5 seconds, then face left for approximately 5 seconds so we can capture your profile.
Unless otherwise noted, perform the dialogue directly to camera as though speaking during a documentary interview.
